Francis(Frank) was born on December 5th, 1814 in Cabell County, West Virginia.1 Francis(Frank)'s father was John Russell and his mother was Hannah "Patience" Rankin. His paternal grandparents were Jeffrey Russell and Elizabeth Wood. He had nine brothers and eight sisters, named Samuel, James Samuel, Sanders, Thomas Jefferson, William, Jeremiah, John, Lawrence, Manoah B., Ginsey Jane, Armilda, Anna, Elizabeth, Elizabeth Jemima, Esther, Jemima Elizabeth and Rachel. He died at the age of 51 on September 28th, 1866 in Getaway, Lawrence County, Ohio.1 -
