George Washington Markin

George Washington was born on July 12th, 1855 in Lawrence County, Ohio.¹   George Washington's father was Charles William Markin and his mother was Delitha Jacks.  His paternal grandparents were Joseph Markin and Rebecca Deckard; his maternal grandparents were Ivan Jacks and Aletha Macomber. He had five brothers named Ebenezer, Thomas G, John Henry, Alexander and Charles.  He was the third oldest of the six children.  He died at the age of 81 on November 11th, 1936 in Bozeman, Gallatin County, Montana.¹ 

‌George Washington and Lena Helen were married in a religious ceremony on December 9th, 1901 in Deer Lodge, Montana.¹   They had two sons and two daughters, named Charles Frederick, Living, Living and Living.
