Ebenezer Markin

Ebenezer was born on February 16th, 1847 in Lawrence County, Ohio.¹   Ebenezer's father was Charles William Markin and his mother was Delitha Jacks.  His paternal grandparents were Joseph Markin and Rebecca Deckard; his maternal grandparents were Ivan Jacks and Aletha Macomber. He had five brothers named Thomas G, George Washington, John Henry, Alexander and Charles.  He was the oldest of the six children.  He died at the age of 78 on November 1st, 1925 in Wrightsville, Georgia.¹ 

‌Ebenezer and Martha were married in a religious ceremony on February 13th, 1864.¹ 

They had three sons and four daughters, named Elmer Lamar, Ebenezer (Ebbie), Living, Bessie, Living, Living and Living.
