Charles L Markin

Charles L was born in 1832 in Ohio.¹   Charles L's father was Samuel Markin and his mother was Elizabeth Golden.  His paternal grandparents were Charles W I Markin and Lucinda Dechard; his maternal grandparents were Warren Golden and Hetty Fletcher. He had three brothers and a sister, named Warren, Samuel, Sylvester and Golden.  He was the third oldest of the five children.

‌Charles L and Hannah were married in a religious ceremony on December 22nd, 1851 in Lawrence County, Ohio.¹   They had two sons and a daughter, named William H, Francis and Mary A.
