Sarah Amanda was born on September 17th, 1837.1 Sarah Amanda's father was James Dilley and her mother was Delilah Hall. Her paternal grandparents were Jr. Dilley John and Elizabeth Ackland aka Eckland. She had two brothers and five sisters, named Washington Tracy, James Vinton, Mary Ann, Hester Ann, Elizabeth, Julia Ann and Arvilla. She had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named James B, William and Lucinda.-
