John Clay 
John's father was Henry Clay and his mother was Mary Mitchell. His paternal grandparents were Charles Clay and Hannah Wilson; his maternal grandparents were William Mitchell and Elizabeth Innes. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named Charles, John, William Mitchell, William Mitchell, Charles, Henry, Henry, Amey, Amey and Mary. He died about 1762 in , Chesterfield, Virginia.1
