Francis was born about 1517 in Poynton, Cheshire, England. Francis' father was Edwarde Warren and his mother was Dorothy Dame Bothe. His paternal grandparents were Laurence De Warren and Margaret Leigh. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Johannes Warren, Laurence, Edward, Peter, Ethelred, Margaret, Helen, Joan and Ann. He was the oldest of the ten children. He died in 1576 in Poynton, Cheshire, England.General Notes
