Edwarde Warren 
Edwarde was born in 1498 in Poynton, Stockport, Cheshire, England/Poynton, England.1 Edwarde's father was Laurence De Warren and his mother was Margaret Leigh. His paternal grandparents were John Warren and Eleanor Gerrard; his maternal grandfather was Piers Leigh. He had four brothers and nine sisters, named Ranulph, Laurence, Richard, George, Cecily, Mabel, Helen, Margaret, Dorothy, Ann, Catharine, Jane and Isabel. He was the oldest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 60 on October 12th, 1558 in Prestbury, Cheshire England. He was buried on October 12th, 1558 in Chancel belonging to Prestbury Church, Prestbury, England.1 General Notes

Built a new house in Poynton Park, which being decayed, was pulled down by George Warren, Esq., living in 1782.
He was knighted at Leith in Scotland by the Earl of Hertford on 11th May 1544 for distinguished service in that engagement, in which the Cardinal of St. Andrew's, who commanded the Scottish forces, was defeated.
