Robert de VERE 
Robert de was born about 1068 in Of Hedingham, Essex, England.1 Robert de's father was Alberic Aubrey de VERE and his mother was Beatrice de GAND. His paternal grandparents were Alphonso GHESNES and Countess Of GHESNES Mrs-Alphonso; his maternal grandparents were Henry Castellan de GAND and Sibilla MANASSES. He had five brothers and a sister, named Alberic de, Geoffrey de, Roger de, William de, Aubrey II de and Roheise (Roesia) de. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children.
