Alberic de was born about 1062 in Of, Hadingham, Essex, England.1 Alberic de's father was Alberic Aubrey de VERE and his mother was Beatrice de GAND. His paternal grandparents were Alphonso GHESNES and Countess Of GHESNES Mrs-Alphonso; his maternal grandparents were Henry Castellan de GAND and Sibilla MANASSES. He had five brothers and a sister, named Geoffrey de, Roger de, Robert de, William de, Aubrey II de and Roheise (Roesia) de. He was the oldest of the seven children. He died on May 11th, 1141.1 -
