William M. Upperman 
William M. was born on October 9th, 1883.1 William M.'s father was John Wesley Upperman and his mother was Mary Jane Hutchins. His maternal grandparents were Thomas Jefferson Hutchins and Sarah Cooper. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Thomas Jefferson, Charles Gilbert, Claude Edward, Benjamin Harrison, John Wesley, William Dillard, Sarah Anna Rebecca and Nancy Elizabeth. He was the third oldest of the nine children.-
