John Strother 
John was born about 1594 in Kirknew, Northumberland, England.1 John's father was Lancelot Strother and his mother was Eleanor Conyers. His paternal grandparents were William Strother and Jane Selby; his maternal grandfather was John Conyers. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Strother, William, Lancelot, Anne or Agnes, Elizabeth, Jane, Eleanor, Catharine and Mary. He was the fourth oldest of the ten children.1 -
