Jane Strother

Jane was born about 1602 in Kirknew, Northumberland, England.¹ Jane's father was Lancelot Strother and her mother was Eleanor Conyers. Her paternal grandparents were William Strother and Jane Selby; her maternal grandfather was John Conyers. She had four brothers and five sisters, named Strother, John, William, Lancelot, Anne or Agnes, Elizabeth, Eleanor, Catharine and Mary. She was the fourth youngest of the ten children.
