Matilda STRANGE

Matilda was born about 1176 in Of Knockyn, Shrpsh, Engl.¹   Matilda's father was Guy le Strange and her mother was Mary le Strange.  Her paternal grandparents were Roald le Strange and Matilde le Brun; her maternal grandparents were Roland le Strange and Maud de Hunstanton. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Ralph, Guy, Hamon, Margaret and Joan.  She was the third youngest of the six children.  She died on May 14th, 1242.¹
