Joan STRANGE

Joan was born about 1178 in Of Knockyn, Shrpsh, Engl.¹   Joan's father was Guy le Strange and her mother was Mary le Strange.  Her paternal grandparents were Roald le Strange and Matilde le Brun; her maternal grandparents were Roland le Strange and Maud de Hunstanton. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Ralph, Guy, Hamon, Margaret and Matilda.  She was the second youngest of the six children.
