Margaret de was born about 1218 in Of, Winchester, Hampshire, England.1 Margaret de's father was Roger de QUINCY and her mother was Helen (Elena) MacDonald. Her paternal grandparents were Saher IV de QUINCY and Margaret de HARCOURT; her maternal grandparents were Alan MacDonald de GALLOWAY and Helen de la ISLE. She had two sisters named Elizabeth (Isabel) de and Helen (Ellen) de. She was the oldest of the three children.1 General Notes
