Mary Elizabeth was born on April 30th, 1855 in ,Callaway, Missouri.1 Mary Elizabeth's father was James Henry POWELL and her mother was Sarah Ann MC DONALD. Her paternal grandparents were Anthony POWELL and Elizabeth Miller; her maternal grandparents were Francis Marion MCDONALD and Sarah. She had five brothers and five sisters, named Anthony, Francis Marion, Thomas Jefferson, James A., Charles H., Sarah E., Malinda Anne, Amanda Catherine, Martha Jane and Rebecca F. Sue. She was the third youngest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 77 on February 27th, 1933 in New Bloomfield, Callaway, Mo. She was buried in Prospect Cmty, Callaway, Mo.1 1 -
