John William POWELL

John William was born on October 3rd, 1861 in Schuyler, Missouri.¹ John William's father was John L. POWELL and his mother was Sarah Kiff. His paternal grandparents were Charles POWELL and Susan May; his maternal grandparents were Richard Kiff and Mrs. (Kiff). He had two brothers and three sisters, named Henry, Richard, Matilda, Mary E. and Nancy. He was the youngest of the six children. He had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named Richard, Matilda, Mary E. and Nancy. He died at the age of 76 on April 16th, 1938 in Wheaton, McDonald Co., Missouri. He was buried in Rocky Comfort Cemetery, Rocky Comfort, MO.²¹
