William Owens

William was born in 1750 in Prince William C.¹   William's father was Joshua Owens and his mother was Lettice Grigsby.  His paternal grandparents were Richard Owens and Mary (Owens); his maternal grandparents were William Grigsby and Marget Ursley MANN. He had four brothers named Johnua, George, Johnson and James.  He was the second oldest of the five children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Samuel and Nancy.  He died at the age of 68 in 1818 in Champaign, OH.¹
