James Owens

James was born in 1754.¹   James' father was Joshua Owens and his mother was Lettice Grigsby.  His paternal grandparents were Richard Owens and Mary (Owens); his maternal grandparents were William Grigsby and Marget Ursley MANN. He had four brothers named Johnua, William, George and Johnson.  He was the youngest of the five children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Samuel and Nancy.
