Simon I Of MONTFORT 
Simon I Of was born in 1026 in Evereux, Normandy, France.1 Simon I Of's father was Amauri de Montfort and his mother was Bertrade de Gometz. His paternal grandparents were William de Bastinbourg and Albreda de Montfort; his maternal grandfather was Guillaume De GOMETZ. He had three brothers and a sister, named Marnier de, Mainer De, Amaury De and Eve de. He was the second oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 61 on September 25th, 1087 in St. Thomas, France. He was buried in ,Epernon, Normandy, France.1 1 General Notes
