Louis I "The Pious" 
Louis I "The Pious" was born in August 0778 in Casseneuil, L-Grnn, France.1 Louis I "The Pious"'s father was Charlemagne and his mother was Hildegarde. His paternal grandparents were Pepin and Bertrada of Laon; his maternal grandparents were Gerold I of Swabia and Imma of Alemania. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Charles, Pépin (Carloman), Lothaire, Adélaïde(Adelheid), Rotrude, Bertha, Gisèle and Hildegarde. He was the third youngest of the nine children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Abbott Of Saint Quentin and Aupais Alpais. He died in Near, Ingelheim, Rhinehessen, Hesse. He was buried in Cathédrale D'Aachen, Aachen, Rheinland, Prussia.1 1 General Notes
