Lothar I de was born in 0795 in Of, Altdorf, Bavaria.1 Lothar I de's father was Louis I "The Pious" and his mother was Ermengarde Of Hesbaye. His paternal grandparents were Charlemagne and Hildegarde; his maternal grandfather was Count Of Hesbaye Ingram. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Pépin I King Of, Ludwig II (Louis) "The German" King Of, Hildegard, Alpaide (Alpais) Princess Of and Rotrude Princess Of The. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Charles II "The Bald" and Gisela de. He died in ,Pruem, Rheinland, Prussia. He was buried in St Sauveur, France.1 1 General Notes
