Benjamin Herring 
Benjamin was born about 1725 in Craven Co., NC.1 Benjamin's father was JOHN HERRING and his mother was Catherine Morbe. His paternal grandparents were Anthony Herring and Marjorie West; his maternal grandparents were George Morbe and Catherine (Morbe). He had three brothers and a sister, named John, Simon, JOSHUA and Susanna. He was the second youngest of the five children. He died on August 28th, 1789 in New Hanover, NC.1 -
