Elinor verch Gwerystan

Elinor verch was born about 0980 in of Powys, Wales.¹   Elinor verch's father was Gwerystan ap Gwaethfoed and her mother was Nesta verch Cadell.  Her paternal grandfather was Gwaethfoed ap Gwynnan; her maternal grandfather was Cadell ap Brochwel. She had a brother and a sister, named King of Powys and Nesta verch.  She was the youngest of the three children. She had a half-sister named daughter verch.
