John FitzJohn 
John was born about 1144 in Of, Pembroke, Pembrokeshire, Wales.1 John's father was John FITZGILBERT and his mother was Sibilla (Sibyl) de SALISBURY. His paternal grandparents were Gilbert FITZROBERT and Miss de VENUZ; his maternal grandparents were Walter de Salisbury and Sibilla Maud de CHAWORTH. He had three brothers and three sisters, named William, Anselm, Henry, Maud (MARSHALL), Dau and Margaret. He was the oldest of the seven children. He died in 1194. He was buried in Bradenstoke.1 1 General Notes
