Reader Clarke 
Reader was born in 1812.1 Reader's father was Houten Clarke and her mother was Nancy RILEY. Her maternal grandparents were Garrard RILEY and Frances Wright. She had three brothers and five sisters, named SMITH Garrison, Joseph Marcus, Ninian H., Frances, Eleanor Hulda, Nancy Caroline, Sara Ann and Minerva Jane. She was the third oldest of the nine children.-
