John Carter II 
John was born in 1689 in Lancaster Co., VA.1 John's father was Robert King Carter and his mother was Judith Armistead. His paternal grandparents were John Carter and Sarah Ludlow; his maternal grandfather was John Armistead. He had three sisters named Sarah, Elizabeth and Judith. He was the oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 54 on April 30th, 1743 in Lancaster County, VA.1 General Notes
