John Carpenter 
John was born in 1762.1 John's father was Peter ZIMMERMAN and his mother was Barbara Deppen. His maternal grandparents were Christian Deppen and Veronica Ruchty. He had ten brothers named Christian, David, Jacob, Jacob, Joseph, Fredrick, Henry W., Abraham, William and Samuel. He was the second oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 85 on February 14th, 1847.1 -
