Sarah was born on October 5th, 1741. Sarah's father was Benjamin G. White and her mother was Ann Hilliard. Her paternal grandparents were Guy II White and Elizabeth Griffith. She had three brothers and five sisters, named William, John, Benjamin, Rebecca, Lettice, Margaret, Rachel and Mary Ann. She was the second youngest of the nine children.General Notes
