John Tipton 
John was born on August 15th, 1730 in St. Pauls Parish, Baltimore Co., MD. John's father was Jonathan II Tipton and his mother was Elizabeth Edwards. His paternal grandparents were Jonathan Tipton and Sarah Pearce. He had a brother and a sister, named Edward and Sarah. He was the second oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 83 in August 1813 in Washington Co., TN.General Notes
