John William Slaymaker 
John William was born on June 25th, 1855 in Seneca County, OH. John William's father was Alexander Slaymaker and his mother was Lucinda Bair. His paternal grandparents were Alexander Slaymaker and Sarah Davis; his maternal grandparents were Daniel Bair and Catherine Carringer. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Reuben A., Charles H., Walter F., Jasper, Susan Catherine and Amanda Jane. He was the youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 68 on October 8th, 1923.General Notes
