Sarah Gist

Sarah was born on November 25th, 1747. Sarah's father was William Gist and her mother was Violetta Howard. Her paternal grandparents were Richard Gist and Zipporah Murray; her maternal grandparents were Joshua Howard and Joanna O'Carroll. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Joseph, William, Thomas, John, Ann, Elizabeth, Violetta and Ellen. She was the fourth oldest of the nine children.
