Susanna V. Skaggs

Susanna was born in 1847 in Kentucky.¹ Susanna's father was William T. Skaggs and her mother was Susan Reeves. Her paternal grandparents were William David Skaggs and Margaret Hoover; her maternal grandparents were John Reeves and Catherine Perry. She had eight brothers and a sister, named Richard, Moses, William, George, Joseph, Jasper, Benjamin, Joshua and Chloe. She was the eighth oldest of the ten children.
