Benjamin Franklin Skaggs

Benjamin was born on November 18th, 1844 in Kentucky.¹ Benjamin's father was William T. Skaggs and his mother was Susan Reeves. His paternal grandparents were William David Skaggs and Margaret Hoover; his maternal grandparents were John Reeves and Catherine Perry. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named Richard, Moses, William, George, Joseph, Jasper, Joshua, Susanna and Chloe. He was the seventh oldest of the ten children.
