George was born before 1642 in Charles Co., Maryland.1   George's father was Robert Hinson and his mother was <Unknown>.  His paternal grandparents were Maryland Hanson and <Unknown>. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Joseph, James, Alexander, Robert, Anne and Mary.  He was the oldest of the seven children.
