Ada was born on March 21st, 1901.  Ada's father was John Burke and her mother was Fanny Ella Ferguson.  Her paternal grandparents were John Patrick Burke and Mary Ann Ingram; her maternal grandparents were Levy Ferguson and Jane Foster. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Jesse, Almer, John, Burr, Rachel, Mary and Laura.  She was the seventh oldest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 87 on November 15th, 1988 in Shepherdsville, Kentucky.  Her burial was in Bullitt Lick Cemetery, Shepherdsville, Kentucky.1
