Mr Ernest Cheetham 
Ernest was born in 1897 in Sheffield, Yorkshire, England. Ernest's father was Mr William Cheetham and his mother was Mrs Sarah Jane West. His paternal grandparents were Mr George Cheetham and Ms Mary Ann; his maternal grandparents were Mr James West and Mrs Sarah J West. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Herbert, Willie, John, Alice, Lily, Ada, Minnie and Nelie. He was the third youngest of the nine children.General Notes
Originally went into the Navy, then after training went into the Army and was a Prisioner of War.
