Fred. was born in 1858 in Leeds.1  Fred.'s father was Richard Rollisson and his mother was Sophia Marshall Hemingway.  His paternal grandparents were William Rollisson and Mary Pickersgill. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Alfred, William, Ellen, Ann and Jennet.  He was the fourth oldest of the six children.
