Annie was born on June 26th, 1882 in Ashton under Lyne.1  Annie's father was Henry Horsman and her mother was Lydia Ann Fenton.  Her paternal grandparents were Edward Horsman and Ann Staniland; her maternal grandparents were William Fenton and Hannah Wood. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Edward, William, Henry, Lily and Elsie.  She was the third youngest of the six children.  She died from cancer, Opertaed for stomach cancer; death from liver cancer, at the age of 63 on August 18th, 1945 in Sheffield.1

‌Annie and Robert were married in a religious ceremony on December 22nd, 1917 in Bradford.1   They had a son and two daughters, named Geoffrey, Barbara and Margaret.  Barbara and Margaret were twins.
