Jane was born before 1777 and her baptism took place on June 22nd, 1777.1 Jane's father was Thomas Callaby and her mother was Susan Hull. Her maternal grandparents were William Hull and Ann. She had four brothers and a sister, named Thomas, Matthew, William, Charles and Amy. She was the second oldest of the six children.
