Sarah Sture 
Sarah was born in 1720 and her baptism took place on October 18th, 1720 in Woodleigh.1 Sarah's father was George Sture and her mother was Sarah Foale. Her maternal grandparents were Philip Foale and Sarah. She had four brothers and four sisters, named George, William, Henry, Philip, Elizabeth, Elizabeth, Mary and Anna. She was the oldest of the nine children. She had a half-brother named George.General Notes
might be the Sarah Steer who married FRANCIS GRILLS the younger at Charleton on 8th July 1740 : this Francis Grills would probably be the second son of Francis Grills and Agnes Churchill, baptised 15th May 1716 at Woodleigh : the parents were married there on 9th April 1709]. Transcript from Exeter Diocesan Marriage Licenses reads : 1740 July 8th GRILLS, Francis of Charlton, Yeoman and Sarah STEER of Woodley, spinster. (Dispatched at Charlton)
