John Thomas Steer 
John was born about 1855.1 John's father was Thomas Steer and his mother was Mary Hayward. His paternal grandparents were Jasper Steer and Harriett Wooton. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Jasper, Robert, Mary and Elizabeth. He was the oldest of the five children. He died in 1930 in Brixham Devon.1
