George Steer

George was born before 1826 and his baptism took place on September 13th, 1826 in Dodbrooke Devon.¹ George's father was Henry Steer and his mother was Sarah Lowry. His paternal grandparents were George Sture and Fanny Prouse. He had eight brothers and three sisters, named George, Henry, Charles, John, William, James, Philip, Robert, Susan, Sarah and Susan.
