Frederick was born about 1852 in Bath, Somersetshire.1   Frederick's father was Michael STIER and his mother was Ann STIER.  His paternal grandparents are <Unknown> and <Unknown>. He had a brother and a sister, named Joseph and Ursula M.  He was the second oldest of the three children.
