Robert Henry was born about 1900 in Rotherhithe London.1   Robert Henry's father was John Alfred STEERS and his mother was Lydia STEERS. He had three brothers and two sisters, named John Thomas, Edward Albert, Benjamin, Lydia May and Winifred.  He was the oldest of the six children.
