Edward Albert was born about 1905 in Rotherhithe London.1   Edward Albert's father was John Alfred STEERS and his mother was Lydia STEERS. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Robert Henry, John Thomas, Benjamin, Lydia May and Winifred.  He was the third youngest of the six children.
