Fred was born about 1889 in Sidcup, Kent.1   Fred's father was Henry STEERS and his mother is <Unknown>. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Henry, Edwin, Charles, May, Amy, Wilhelmine, Alice and Louisa.  He was the third youngest of the nine children.  Fred is no longer alive.
