Edwin was born about 1881 in Sidcup, Kent.1   Edwin's father was Henry STEERS and his mother is <Unknown>. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Henry, Charles, Fred, May, Amy, Wilhelmine, Alice and Louisa.  He was the third oldest of the nine children.  Edwin is no longer alive.
