Albert J was born about 1871 in Islington Middlesex.1   Albert J's father was Benjamine STEERS and his mother was Sarah Ann STEERS. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Walter B, George W, Alice B and Ruth J.  He was the oldest of the five children.
